Voltage Detection Sensor Module 25V module is based on the principle of resistive voltage divider design, it can make the red terminal connector input voltage 5 times smaller. Arduino analog input voltages up to 5 v. The voltage detection module input voltage is not greater than 5Vx5=25V (if using 3.3V systems, the input voltage is not greater than 3.3Vx5=16.5V).

It has a limit of Arduino analog input of 5 VDC only. So if you wish to measure higher voltages, you will need to resort to another means. One way is to use a voltage divider. The one discussed here is found all over Amazon and eBay. It is fundamentally a 5:1 voltage divider using a 30K and a 7.5K Ohm resistor

Features

  • Output Interface: “+ ” Connected 5/3.3V, “-” Connected GND, “s” Connected Arduino AD pins
  • DC Input interface: red terminal positive with VCC, negative with GND
  • You Can Also Use the IICLCD1602 LCD to Display Voltage.
  • By 3P Connector, Connect this Module with the Expansion of Board Arduino, which not only makes it easier for you to detect voltage battery.

Application

  • Monitoring battery voltage: A DC voltage sensor module can be used to monitor the voltage of a battery, providing real-time information about its state of charge. This can be particularly useful in applications such as electric vehicles, solar power systems, or portable electronic devices where knowing the battery voltage is essential for efficient operation and preventing over-discharge.
  • Power supply monitoring: DC voltage sensor modules can be employed to monitor the output voltage of power supplies in various electronic systems. By continuously measuring the voltage, the module can detect any fluctuations or deviations from the desired value, allowing for prompt troubleshooting and maintenance. This is crucial in sensitive equipment, where stable and accurate power supply voltage is critical for proper functioning.
  • Industrial automation: DC voltage sensor modules find extensive usage in industrial automation applications. They can be integrated into control systems to monitor and regulate the voltage levels of DC power sources, ensuring stable and reliable operation of machinery and equipment. Voltage sensors play a vital role in detecting faults, voltage drops, or abnormal conditions, triggering alarms, or initiating corrective actions to prevent damage or downtime.
